I would like to submit information on my ancestor: Roland Evans b. 1805, Pa., d.25/2/1882 in Plain Twp. He married Anna Smith b. 20/3/1811 in N.J. married 9/2/1832 in Franklin Co., she died 18/7/1891. I believe they are both buried in the Maplewood Cem., in New Albany. They lived most of their adult life in Plain, Franklin Co. Found in 1850,60, and 80, Federal Census, for Franklin, Plain Twp. The BLM lists Roland Evans receiving 80 acres in 1831 and 200 acres in 1833. He is listed as a farmer.
