Greetings Researchers!
My name is Karen De Groote and I am
your new county coordinator. I
have ancestors hailing from many
Ohio counties and I believe my
Dildine family came from Franklin in
the early 1800s. Although
today, most of Franklin County
houses the state capital city,
Columbus, in the early 1800s
Franklin was larger and consisted of
fields, forests and rivers.
There are still fields and forests
to be found in Franklin County.
Please feel free
to
contact me with questions or
contributions, my door is always open!
Franklin County is
under construction and
reorganization. Let me know if
you encounter any deficiencies or
broken links. Karen |
